I know.......commercials......ruin everything.......that's why I don't like to watch it anymore..... :mope:

That's why I DVR'd it and plan to watch it today, fast forwarding through all the retrospectives and commercials.

Actually many of the commercials, especially made for the Olympics were pretty good. It was the inane pontificating of the "hosts" that bothered me the most. :flame:

Watched some of it at my Sister's.......didn't bother here at home. She had dvr'd and did the fast forward. I like the swimming.......and a few other things.but, that's about it. Oh, didn't watch the opening ceremonies and from what I hear.......I didn't miss much.

Does anyone have a video of the opening ceremony they can put up? It's the one part of the olympics that I like to watch, but missed. :cry: and a search on youtube yeilded nothing eccept garbage.

From what I hear it wasn't very good.........but, I didn't watch it......so....don't really know

Well.....as I said...I wouldn't know since I didn't watch it. ...and the people that talked to me about it....didn't like it.

Well it was a bit pompous too. Like trying to stage a 3 hour play in a soccer stadium in under an hour . Not a very good medium. But the camera work was good to excellent.
