Yeah, that PRECIOUS! Excellent acting and photography but they had to (IMHO) mix around the story to give it more impact near the end even tho' the end itself is pretty low key. And wait 'til you get a load of how Mariah Carey looks. Not at all like her public persona.

Starring; Mo'nique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravits and introducing Gabourey Sidibe. And she really is a talented young lady.

Yeah, DVD.

I watched Precious over the weekend. What a powerful film!

Gabby's mother made the Top 48 on AGT. They start the semifinals next week.

I'm glad the movie ended somewhat upbeat. :biggthumbup:

Glad to hear her mom is doing well in the competitions but as I seem to hear it the top true talent doesn't always win. :(
