So in that there wasn't much we wanted to watch on TV last night we tuned in to an NPR show dedicated to Broadway plays. Mostly musicals. The performances looked like they were from televised award shows.

One clip had a very young Jerry Orbach performing a song about basketball. If anybody else had sung that song I'd have changed the station. :rotfl:

Another clip was put together from a play that employed songs from much older Gershwin plays and had about a dozen chorus girls and one guy singing about having learned to dance which he was also doing. So I'm sitting there staring at this guy and Holy Beer Bust guess who he is? The actor who played the evil mayor on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The red haired actor who was also in that Jack Nicholson movie about that guy who retired just around the time his wife died. Something about Shultz?

Ya never know who's gonna turn up on stage anymore. :scratchhead:
