Former Prodigy Member Has Missing Child

Post by Donahoo » Tue Dec 21, 2004 11:42 am

I posted this on the xProdigy Computing Forum for my buddy Dingbat:
Dear Friends,

A terrible thing has happened to Linda, one of our members in SC. Her 17 yr. old daughter has been missing Since Mon. Dec 13th. She may be accompanied by a Mexican boy and in the Southern area of the country...NC, SC, GA, TX, or Mexico
If you have any friends in that area of the country, would you be kind enough to pass on this information, please. Her mother is frantic, as you can imagine!
This is not a hoax, she is listed on the Missing and Exploited Children Site. Please take a moment to look at her picture and information.
http://www.ncmec.org/missingkids/servle ... Lang=en_US
Other appropriate authorities have been notified, but they have no information yet!

Her mother would be very grateful for your help!
Thank You so much.......

Patty

I'm so sorry to hear this. Give my best to Linda and let her know our prayers are with her and her family.

Wow, Tell her she is in my prayers too. I know how it is to have a teen missing. It will litterally turn your hair grey.

If it wasn't before the disappearance. ;) I, too, offer my prayers for her safe and quick return. Mine had a happy ending.

I can only hope it's a whim and a lark and she'll be calling her mom soon to ask to be brought home. :ghug:

I haven't heard another word about it. I'll ask.

Prodigal daughter has been found alive and well in Georgia with her boyfriend. She apparently ran away.

Mixed emotions here. While I'm glad that's all it was I'm tempted to ground the kid til she's at least 35 years old. :flame:

A question. Do you think the parents have grounds to have the female child tested for fruitful sexual behavior? And have the idiot male thoroughly instructed on the Mann Act. Which I believe is still on the books. :-P
