Btw, why does the author of that test think it's nerdy to keep a copy of the periodic table on hand? Is there a better way to make sure one finds out if a new element gets discovered? Or if a previous report of such discovery gets retracted? ;)

Well, I don't have one and didn't even think to Google for the answers. :scratchhead: BTW, who was the guy in the first picture. I recognized Isaac Newton because he was on Star Trek TNG once. :rotfl:

The first guy is James Clerk Maxwell. He did revolutionary work in electromagnetism and the kinetic theory of gases.
