She has had major computer problems, and wanted you all to know she will be back as soon as she can. She's getting caught up on all the new technology so you all can ask all your techy questions when she gets back.
She also says she has spies everywhere and will know if anybody has been bad-mouthing her while she's been away.

My computer gave up the ghost and I couldn't e-mail or visit my favorite board....(nor buy anything, which is probably a good thing) My Nephew is heling me set up my new computer. It's his business and why not? Besides, I need the help. As it was....I signed up for DSL, but, the modem they sent me was not the right one for Vista....which I have, now. Oh, yeah, and DSL is a first for me, too. I suppose I'm catching up to technology.....sort of....huh? Wonder if Xjmt has all these bells and whistles? Anyway, as soon as I'm up and runing ...."I'll be back!" Oh, and don't talk about me while I'm gone. I have spies everywhere
hehe, if you didn't believe Anne, that's lswot's own words.

Glad to hear it's "just" computer problems.

Re "I picked up a virus somehow..."
Get plenty of rest, drink some juice, and eat lots chicken soup.
Oh, you didn't mean that kind of virus?
Never mind.

Well, now that you mention it, I actually did pick up that kind of virus too.
But anyway, my virus protection somehow revived itself, so I ran a scan and I'd picked up a couple of trojans

So, it looks like this computer will be chugging along for a while longer yet... once I get rid of the annoying pop ups

Yay. (for getting it fixed)
Boo (for the popups)
I use a popup blocker on my puter. It's funny how many little bugs that eliminated. stupid companies.

There's a joke in there somewhere about trojans and viruses, but I think I'll just leave it alone.

It's the 13 year old girl who sobbed while watching Sanjaya, the boy with zero talent, performing on American Idol this week. I thought she was crying because, like mine, her ears were bleeding. But she actually was
enjoying his "performance". She gave me a good laugh, so I thought I'd give her a little tribute in my av.

I have never watched a single episode of that one either.
