Well, thankyou.
I got to go to LA and play in the mud.
Too many mudslides to go around, so I just drove thru them.

I guess you could say we welcomed you with open...uh, flood controls.
I see blue sky and
the sun. The weather folk say no more rain till Sunday.
Who listens to weather folk? 8)
This is the THIRD highest rainy season we've had since 1898...or something like that. Which will probably change after the next storm.
We have more rain that Portland and Seattle!!!
Since the sun 8) is out....I suppose I should be out and about...huh?

Yes, this was supposed to be the eye of the storm, but it seems the storm vanished. It is a beutiful day here too.
Oh, and the truckwasher washed allll the mud off my truck for me. It is again, a pretty blue instead of a dingy brown.
32" of rain this season. That's a lot, even for a desert...err, I mean LA

No, the normal rainy season. I believe it's between the beginning of winter and the beginning of the following winter.

Actually, I think it's July to June. Normal would be 12 inches or so....and we've really beaten that one.
Yeah....desert......with flash floods.
They 'slayed' the tiger and now they're jack hammering a rock perched over the PCH.....
Red and yellow tagging sagging homes....
Filling in a sink hole in Covina.....
Trying to dry out damaged areas....
getting ready for more rain next week
And in two weeks I am going to the Grand Slam in Pasadena! YAY!

If pasadena is still there. hwy 14 is a mud hole, 210 thus far is just halfway under water, but should be dried out just in time for the next storm.
