I bugged out. I've heard that smoke can be hazardous, etc., and besides, my apartment is in the corner of the evacuation zone. At the moment I'm staying with a coworker.

On the bright side, he does have internet.

Ok, who ordered the triple digit heat?
Let's see.... 108 in Grapevine yesterday...not cool. No a/c and only 18 mph up that little hill. (at least it was only 77 in Oxnard where I unloaded)
Was 105 here at home today, supposed to be the same tomorrow, then cool back down slowly to the double digits next week. (I'll be glad to have My truck back)

Well....I was referring to the heat.......albeit not as hot, here, as in Vegas.....it was pretty warm. As for the flooding......not in my neck of the woods.
