I once read that a favorite fan letter of his was for his tomato sauce. It said something like, 'my girl tells my you used to be an actor well if you could act as well as you make sauce you musta been one heckofan actor.'

He was a classy guy and while I knew his death was imminent the headline still shocked me. :mope: :crying:

Not long ago I had seen some photos of him and it was obvious to me he was going downhill faster than age would dictate.
