Well, I think this must be a record for the oldest thread bumped on any forum. :flame: I'm trying to see your point.

I don't see as much involvement as there once was. Or is that my imagination? :scratchhead:

It's almost as if all the writers were on strike and people didn't know what to say.

Why didn't you just say that? :scratchhead:

hmm....something didn't work.....I'll have to recheck the forum permissions again. This thread shouldn't have been able to be bumped.
btw...I see new posts here daily. :)

Thankyou xjmt. You showed me something that isn't working. :flame:
After 7 days, threads are set to not allow bumping. (that's 7 days of no new posts) but it didn't work here.
Must fix.

And better than 50% of them are Henry trying to keep things alive by posting TV schedules for Charmed, Angel, Buffy and throwing puns elsewhere. Let's give him a break and somebody say something else for a change.

ps the soap opera forums (2) seem to keep chugging along but I don't watch soap operas.

What? That's not long enough. It would be a annoyance to be unable to reply on a thread just because it's been idle for a couple of months. Years okay; adding to a year old thread is rare enough that making a new thread (perhaps with a link to the old one) would suffice (this here thread excepted, perhaps? ). But months old, we regularly add replies to those, such as when a TV series has the next new episode after the end of a previous season.

Actually Henry, that's the default set by the forum software. I hadn't even looked at it, so when this thread got bumped, I had to go look. I can turn it off, but....it seems it doesn't work anyway. :scratchhead:
What I normally do with threads like this one (that's after they've run their course) is just turn them into regular forum threads. I forgot too with this one.

Edit: Actually, I did remember to reset it as a regular thread. :scratchhead: Must be gettin old. :rotfl:
